Yellow Brick Dogs

At the present time, I am no longer offering private lessons. I am referring all training inquiries to Leann Harris of Great Pawsibilities Dog Training and Katherine Smith of Shaggeypaws.

Lulu will come work with you and your dog in the comfort of your home. Before we schedule your first appointment, Lulu requires that you fill out a questionnaire about you and your dog, to help her determine your needs.

During the first lesson, we will further discuss your dog and your training needs. At this point, I can determine if multiple sessions should be scheduled, or if the single lesson is enough. Sometimes only one session is needed, and other times a series of lessons is best.

All training is customized to your dog and what you wish to accomplish. A few possible reasons to get private lessons:

• Get a head start for puppy class, and be ahead of the rest.
• Learn how to teach your dog a multitude of skills, including but not limited to:
  • --Sit
  • --Down
  • --Here/Come (recall)
  • --Leave-it
  • --Loose Leash walking
  • --Targeting
• Work on specific "problem behaviors," such as jumping, barking, and leash-pulling.
• And any combination of the above.

Pricing

Each lesson is 1-hour long, and each hour is $50.

If more than one lesson is required, a package price is available at a discount of $180 for four 1-hour lessons.

Lulu is based in the Midlothian area, but her working area is not limited solely to Midlothian. If your home is more than 20 miles away, a travel fee based on the current gas mileage will be added to your bill.
